  • The Columbia Icefield
  • Following the Athabasca Glacier up from the Icefield Center.
  • A very cool ride (literally!).
  • At this point, the Athabasca Glacier is thicker than the Eiffel Tower is tall. Yowza.
  • The Columbia Icefield provides most of this side of North America with its fresh water. Kinda made me think about climate change...

  • This was pretty much the only wildlife we saw on our entire trip--a sculpture of a mountain goat. Bummer.
