We capped it off each night with a decaf. :)

  • Back on board, and time to slide!
  • Each night for dessert, I had the chocolate melting cake. I appreciated the whale tail detail on top of the ice cream.
  • Sarah opted for the jello.
  • We capped it off each night with a decaf. :)
  • The setting sun, wrapping up day three. What an icy adventure!
  • So, as I'm standing in line for pizza, I notice that the guy in front of me has on this super-cool Bill Murray t-shirt. I just had to take a picture...
  • An odd decorative item in the ship's "library."
  • The study carols on the ship--in case anyone has any homework to do.
  • The ship came complete with its own chapel. Maybe for the more formal weddings?
  • And the Lord said unto them, "Let there be carbs." And it was so. Directly upstairs. At the lunch buffet.
  • Most of the decor on the ship was pretty gaudy (think Trump), but I really liked some of the mosaics built into the floors. Tiny tiles arranged in engaging patterns. Reminded me of my visit to Turkey...
  • The morning of day 4 found us in Skagway. Next to where the cruise ships dock is an enormous rock wall, covered with years of cruise ship graffiti...
  • More cruise ship graffiti.
  • Absolutely LOVE the skull incorporated into the rock face!
  • As in every port of call, we were not alone. On a "four-cruise-ship-day," the population of some of these towns increases by 10,000 or more. Cha-ching!
  • I liked the way this couple was silhouetted against the neighboring cruise ship...
