  • The stairwells in many of these Soviet-era buildings were not only depressing, but structurally suspicious. Made for some good patterns, though!

  • These machines at the Gobi Cashmere Factory took me back to the Industrial Age (metaphorically). It's amazing that such clunky machines create such delicate final products.
