Okay. So, hope you don't have cottonwood allergies, because it was blowing off the trees like snow. Constantly. It was a spectacle.

• At the American Center for Mongolian Studies (ACMS), figuring out logistics for the university visits.
http://mongoliacenter.org/
• Some pretty interesting resources here.
• Found inside the American Cultural and Information Center. Who knew Mongolia was so progressive?
• Not exactly sure what this is, but I like it.
• The Beatles' "Revolution" was the soundtrack to Mongolia's independence from Russia in 1990. Here's a tribute.
• On the backside of the Beatles' monument.
• Some leftover architecture from when the Russians were in charge.
• Outside the State Department Store in downtown UB. "All Needs are Fulfilled." Just don't test them on their "lowest price or your money back" deal. It's a scam.
• In front of the National University of Mongolia. The students we met with were so helpful!
• A typical UB street scene. Oh, if these underground layers could talk...
• I want a "Sucks 23" shirt! Will someone make one for me? Please? (I wonder if this would offend Michael Jordan?)
• Okay. So, hope you don't have cottonwood allergies, because it was blowing off the trees like snow. Constantly. It was a spectacle.
• Kept seeing this Mongolian Knot pattern in all sorts of places. Staircases were no exception.
• More graffiti. Nice teeth.
• Outside of the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE). Literacy in action!
• Branch of the Mongolian National University of Education. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mongolian_State_University_of_Education
• Surprise! We were asked to deliver a two-hour lecture at MNUE! We ended up sending around a questionnaire, asking students their opinion on the state of education in Mongolia. Now, to get those translated into English...
• Our questionnaire, asking about the strengths and challenges of the Mongolian education system.
• A nice gesture in the President's office at MNUE.
• Exchanging gifts with the President of MNUE.
